Basing Singers is an amateur mixed adult choir based in the village of Old Basing near Basingstoke, Hampshire, England. We sing a wide variety of music – you may not like everything we do, but you’re sure to like something, and if your favourite isn’t in our programme there are plenty of opportunities for choir members to make suggestions for future concerts.
Typically we put on 3 major concerts in a year, but we also sing by invitation at other local events.

BFOC
This year’s event will celebrate the key anniversaries of Jane Austen within the Borough and in nearby Steventon, as well as commemorate VE Day. These themes reflect the Mayor’s principle of fostering community cohesion by bringing people together to enhance the wellbeing of all.
The concert will showcase the huge variety and diversity of music making opportunities.
This is a great opportunity to support the Mayor’s Charity Appeal, focusing this year on the North Hampshire Prostate Cancer Support Group, and the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation.
