We like to mix things up so there’s something for everyone. You’ll find us singing musical theatre numbers, traditional pieces and popular singalongs. We use our weekly practice sessions to prepare for our performances, including two annual concerts and lots of other lovely local events from carol services to singing at our local pub.
Wednesday 19.30 – 20.45 – Silchester Village Hall, Little London Road, Silchester, RG7 2ND
Silchester Community Choir gives local music lovers the chance to sing together in a friendly, relaxed environment every Wednesday evening. We’re fully inclusive, and our objectives are simple: singing, camaraderie and community.
Anyone over the age of 18 can join our choir. You don’t need to have sung with a choir before or to be able to read music, and there are no nerve-wracking auditions. If you’d like to give the choir a try before committing to becoming a member, you’re welcome to come along for a month before making up your mind. When you join us for the first time, one of our committee will welcome you, take a few details and introduce you to some friendly faces.
There are no upcoming events.
This year the MD will be Hazel O’Leary (KIngsclere Singers and Tadley Singers). All members of BFoC are invited to join in.
No charge – mince pies and mulled wine served at end of service – organised by BCOT catering students.
